About

My name is Heather Ferber and health and wellness are my passion.  With a degree in biology and chemistry, I have enjoyed many successful years working in the health care world and pharmaceutical/biotech industry.   I am a mother of three, wife, entrepreneur, volunteer, and fitness freak.  I understand that obtaining optimal health is essential to meeting life’s ever growing daily demands. Over the past few years, I have spent many hours researching the formula for optimal health as it pertains to proper diet, supplementation and exercise and I love to share my knowledge with others; therefore, I created my blog to share my thoughts with family, friends, and followers.

Presently, I enjoy running, biking, cross training, boxing and the ever challenging world of physical fitness.  My goal is to complete an Ironman 70.3 in 2012. Thankfully, my physician husband shares my health/wellness/fitness passion and is supportive of my goals and endeavors.  He is a great consultant for my blog too!

I would love to hear from any and all of you.  Feel free to leave comments about your own experiences and thoughts as they relate to living a life of health and wellness.  Enjoy!

Very impressive, Heather. Love that you are setting plenty of time to achieve a big goal. Ironman, wow! You have plenty of support and I say go for it! Marty has completed 6 marathons and there are many many other friends that have competed in big races too. You can do it!

Hi Heather! Very cool idea. I have been searching for the ‘cliff notes’ for nutrition/fitness/wellness for years and haven’t discovered it yet. It’s slowly taking shape, though. This blog will help bring some aspects into focus, I’m sure. Good luck with the Ironman training. I know you can do it.

    Hi Heather, =)

What a great blog! It’s me, Kare. I roomed with you and the other girls in Texas for the EIRO convention. Are you on FB? I took a break from fb and business for a year and a half, but I’m back…
